TV Mount & Conceal Components

The project features a flat-panel 36" LCD TV installed in a bedroom. The TV was mounted on the wall at the foot of the bed. An infrared repeater system was installed so that the cable box could be concealed in the bedroom closet, freeing space in the bedroom.

Mark working on the recessed connectivity boxes. All sources (SAT, DVD, etc) will be routed through these boxes to the TVs throughout the house.

Pre-wire: Whole-house A/V

Pre-wired the whole house for A/V using high-quality shielded Cat6 and RG6 for video to the 6 TVs. Also wired living room for 7.1 Surround Sound, and the back patio for audio. Ran a seperate pair of speaker cables to the outside for furture use.

Outdoor Speaker Installation

A pair of all-weather outdoor speakers were installed on the back patio. The speakers were driven from Zone 2 of the receiver system in the master bedroom.

High-quality wire molding was installed to conceal the wires to and from the TV.

TV Mount, Conceal Components, Install 5.1 Surround Sound

We mounted a 46" LED TV and mantle above the fireplace. We mounted the front and back speakers in the corners of the room. All components were placed in a cabinet at the back of the room, and an infrared repeater system carries remote commands via an installed wall plate.

Whole House Audio & TV Mount

We installed a multi-zone system consisting of a 5.1 surround system in the living room, two in-ceiling speakers in the kitchen, and two outdoor speakers on the patio. All components are concealed in the coat closet. An infrared repeater system was installed to carry the remote signal to the components. In-wall volume controls we installed for each zone.
